JAMES BOLANDER
James S. Bolander, former Southern Pacific Railroad conductor, died May 29 in Wishram, Wash according to word received here.

Born Sept 15, 1904 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Bolander moved to Sparks as a young man and made his home there and Reno until 14 years ago. Then he moved to Vancouver Wash where he has since resided at 8712 Mt Rainier Drive.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Vancouver, and the Order of Railway Conductors.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elma Bolander of Vancouver, two sons, James S. Bolander, Jr. of California and Randy Bolander of Vancouver, three daughters, Mrs. Ed Starr of Reno, Mrs. Paul Eddington of Sparks and Julie Bolander of Vancouver, a brother Karl C. Bolander of Ogden, Utah, three sisters, Anna Aanerud of Evanston Wyo. and Mrs. Clarence Stromberg and Alice Davison of Ogden and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Howard Lamphear and Bishop Gilbert Parker officiating. Burial will take place in Burlington, N.C.
