Angelo Atturio, 88, of Kingston, passed away on July 31. He was the loving husband to his wife, Catherine, for 66 years. He was a devoted father to his children, John and his wife Nancy Atturio, Janet Lindberg and Charles and his wife Mary Atturio. He was the brother to seven siblings. He was a devoted grandfather to Christopher and Brian Lindberg, Cory, Lian, Carley, Christine, Ashley, Gabrielle, Gianna and the late Jenna Atturio. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in 1927, to his parents, Calogero and Marianna Atturio, Angelo was born and raised in Roxbury. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a very hardworking man, who did whatever it took to be able to raise his family in a great place. He was also an avid golfer. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., Kingston, Thursday, August 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston.
