Harry was the son of David N. and Lillian (Kendrick) Burrus. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri and worked for the Ball-Band/Uniroyal Company for many years.
He married Kay McNamara on 10 Apr 19942 in Belton, MO.; they were the parents of one daughter, Linda.

Harry L. Burruss

SOUTH BEND — Harry Lee Burruss, 72, of Bella Vista, Ark., and formerly of South Bend, died Saturday in Washington Regional Medical Center. Mr. Burruss was employed at the Ball-Band Plant (later Uniroyal) for more than 33 years.
He was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Kansas City, Mo. On April 10, 1942, in Belton, Mo., he married Kathleen "Kay" McNamara. She survives, with a daughter, Linda Kay Felske of Elkhart; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
In the Boy Scouts of America, he was an Eagle Scout and was a professional field executive.
A memorial service was held today in the Bella Vista Christian Church. Bella Vista (Ark.) Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund, 103 Riordan Road, Bella Vista, AR 72714.
