NEW ALBANY Lillian Inez Coltharp Rhodes-Murry, 83, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at the Magnolia Place Inc. in New Albany. She was born Feb. 17, 1916, in Union County to Newton Benjamin Coltharp and Lou Emma Roberson Coltharp. She was a retired employee of Irwin B. Schwabe.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Randy Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Old Glenfield Cemetery in New Albany.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley J. Rhodes of New Albany, and Janie Malone and her husband, Gary Joe, of Tupelo; one son, James Louis Murry, and his wife, Stormmie, of Myrtle; six grandchildren, Keely Rhodes, Chris Malone, Willie Murry, Jamie Murry, Amanda Hale and Tim Page; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie M. Rhodes; her husband, James O. Murry; her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Bagwell, Joe Bagwell, Lennox Coltharp, Leroy Coltharp, Truett Clayton and Richard Murry.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
