Mrs. L. E. Dennis, a resident of Albany a number of years, passed away in Big Springs. She was 71.
The body was brought to Albany, where funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Albany Cemetery.
Mrs. Dennis, the former Trixie Miracle, was born November 21, 1894, at Boston Arkansas. She married to Lawrence E. Dennis at Rotan and they resided at Aspermont, where he was with a bank, and later at O'Donnell, where he was also employed by a bank. they later returned to Rotan where he ranched, They moved to Albany in 1957 to be near their son, Dickie Dennis, and family.
Mr. Dennis died of injuries received in a car accident in September 1963. Her son,
H. D. Dennis also died in 1963.
Mrs. Dennis was a long-time member of the Baptist Church.
