Jean "Mammaw" Wishart, age 92, of Knoxville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 6, 2016. She was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church since 1948. She was a woman loved by everyone she came in contact with. She was a devoted wife for 68 and a half years, loving mother to her sons and a faithful friend to many. She had a love for children which spread to her church, career and most importantly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored. Her mission in life was to serve the Lord and her family. She will be missed by many but we are assured that she is with her Lord who she served so well.

She is preceded in death by husband, Eldon Wishart; mother and father, Oma and Carl Tilson; sister, Betty Howerton; nephew Donnie Howerton; niec,e Janice Williams. Survived by sons Ira (Debbie) Wishart and Jim (Linda) Wishart; grandchildren, Scott (Ginger) Wishart, Leslie (Leonard) Palladino, Todd (Meghan) Wishart, Angie (John) Lewis; great-grandchildren, Zach and Grant Wishart, Audrey, Julia, and Peyton Palladino, Ben and Meg Wishart, Hannah and Caleigh Lewis; several nieces, nephews, Joyce Wishart, and Jennifer Choate.

Family and friends will meet Thursday at 1:45 p.m. at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 2:00 p.m. graveside service, Dr. John Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Alice Bell Baptist Church in her memory. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City in charge of arrangements. www.mynattfh.com -
