Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and after 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Alvina was born October 24, 1927 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Joseph and Rosena (Raden) Klein. She married George Bielat on June 29, 1946 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. After the death of George she made her home at Park Garden Apartments in Waite Park. Alvina was a volunteer at the Catholic Charities Women’s Guild for many years and a member of St. Paul’s Parish.
Alvina enjoyed quilting, sewing, embroidering, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed visiting with people.
Alvina is survived by her children, Ruth (Leroy) Moser of Richmond, Maxine (Butch) Donat of Clearwater, Alan (Jan) of Sartell, Susan (Bill) Mays of Dallas, Texas, Craig (Joan) of Maple Grove and Mark of St. Paul; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George on December 18, 2011; infant daughter, Mara; and sister, Eleanor Mohs.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
