Peter's will of 1747 mentions wife Jane, children Andrew, Daniel, John, Aaron, Elizabeth, and Ann. The oldest 4 children were from his first marriage and the 2 youngest were by Jane. The will also mentions brother-in-laws John VanCleve, Nathaniel Fitzrandolph and brother Thomas Mershon.

Jane and Peter settled at either Millstone, Somerset County or Middletown, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
