Mrs. Vira Chick

KENNEBUNKPORT - Mrs. Vira Chick, 74 wife of E. Fremont Chick, died yesterday afternoon in Biddeford hospital following a long illness.

Born in this town on Nov. 26, 1889, the daughter of Dana and Carrie (Seavey) Cluff, she was a member of the Cape Porpoise Methodist Church, the Olympian Club and the Good Cheer Club, as well as a member of Aurora Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Besides her widower she is survived by one son, Robert, of this town; three brothers, Wverett F. Cluff, Kennebunk; Harold C. Cluff, Cape Porpoise, and Howard B. Cluff, Garnet, one sister, Mrs. Margie Campbell, Cape Porpoise, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Cape Porpoise Methodist Church with Rev. Russell Peppe officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St/. Kenneebunk. from 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
