William Tabor was the son of Erasmus and Susan Elkins Tabor.

He married Anna Bergin or Burgin on May 29, 1897, in Jackson County. She preceded him in death.

William Tabor, 83, of Ewing, died at 6:20 p.m. Monday at the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, after an illness of nine years. He was a life-long resident of Jackson County.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday from the Winklepleck Funeral Home in Brownstown, with the Rev. Earl Carmichael, pastor of the Freetown Evangelical United Brethern Church, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.

Friends may call at any time at the Winklepleck Funeral Home.

Born November 12, 1877, in Brownstown, Mr Tabor was the son of the late Erazamus and Susan Elkins Tabor. He married the former Anna Burgin in Brownstown. She preceded him in death.

Mr Tabor was employed in the timber and lumber business prior to his retirement and he lived all his life in or near Brownstown.

Survivors include one son, Clyde Tabor, Ewing, one brother Ed Tabor, Ewing; a sister Mrs Lucy Payne, of Florida; and 22 grandchildren. One daughter preceded him in death.
