The remains of JOHN E. BOWERS, son of Samuel H. Bowers, No. 312 S. Potomac St., who was killed in an elevator accident at Pittsburg, arrived Saturday accompanied by Mr. Robert Murdock, a young man employed by the same firm as was Mr. Bowers, the National Biscuit Company. Mr. Murdock stated that the young man was at McCleary's department store in the city looking after the delivery of a shipment of goods from his house and fell about twenty-five feet from the first floor of the building into the basement. The young man lived over an hour after the fall but was unconscious.
