Mary Sue Dukes, 76, of Ashdown, AR passed away September 1, 2016 in Texarkana, TX. She was born January 25, 1940 in Richmond, AR to William Franklin and Ivy Catherine Surber.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Dukes;son, George "Buddy" Dukes; sisters, Margaret Ferland, and Jean Curlee.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Melvin Dukes and Wendy Gladden of Ashdown, AR; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Lee Crockett of Porter, TX, Rhonda and Jimmy Allen of Ashdown, AR; one daughter-in-law, Patty Dukes of Texarkana, AR; one foster daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Billy Suggs of Ashdown, AR; four brothers, Billy Surber of Ashdown, AR, Charles Surber of Ashdown, AR, Raymond Surber of Porter, TX, Randy Surber of Choate, OK; eight grandsons; thirteen great grandchildren; and a very large number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be Saturday September 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Richmond Cemetery in Richmond, AR with Clarence Green.
