LaMar Argyle, 65, died September 10, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born May 15, 1925 in Randolph, Utah, to Alma Monroe and Emma Ireta Mitchell Argyle. Married Melba Passey August 13, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He earned a master's degree from Utah State University in animal husbandry and was the county agricultural agent after graduating. Moved to American Fork in 1954 and was in the management at the Geneva Agricultural Division for ten years and a maintenance foreman for 25 years. He was currently a real estate agent for Century 21. He had served in two bishoprics and fulfilled a lifetime of service in scouting. He was currently serving as the Priest Quorum Advisor. He enjoyed gardening, camping, and riding horses, his greatest joy was his family.

He served in the US Army in Japan during World War II.
