Carl T. Moran
Frankfort -- Carl T. Moran, 74, of Frankfort, died peacefully, March 1, 1998, at a Belfast hospital. Family members were at his side. He was born in Bangor, March 22, 1923, the son of Richard and Mabel (Ogilvie) Moran. Carl served in World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a life member of the DAV and a member of Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Etta M. (Crabtree Stevens) Moran. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dorian and Debbie Moran of Saco; sons and daughters-in-law, Onel and Joy Stevens of Frankfort, Richard and Judy Stevens of Pinehurst, Mass.; daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn (Stevens) and Arthur Staples of Frankfort; daughter, Marilyn (Stevens) Hussey and special friend, Carl of Hampden; brother and sister-in-law, John and Maryanna Moran of Winterport; sister-in-law, Ruth Moran of Winterport; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and several brothers and sisters. In keeping with Carl's wishes, a springtime family graveside service will be held.
