"The condemnation suit of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Company against the Fidelity Trust and Safety Vault Company, trustee of Preston Rogers, Sophia R. Rogers, Walter Hill, Josephine Hill, W. P. Lee, Ella R. Lee and Addie J. Rogers, is on trial before a jury in the County Court. The suit concerns a lot on Fulton street, between Preston and Floyd streets. Messrs. W. C. Priest, Hardy Burton and O. S. Kline, appointed by the Court, appraised the property at $16,200. Both sides appealed, the railroad company claiming the value was not in excess of $15,000, and the trustee that $25,000 would be fair."

The jury fixed the value at $16,500.
