OBITUARY
Mary Catherine Clemons was born in Memphis, MO., February 7 in the year 1841. She was married to Edmund Valentine (I have David Edward) at the age of sixteen years.
She came with him in Nebraska where they settled on a homestead near North Bend, in Dodge county where Mr. Valentine died eighteen months later, leaving her with little Emma, three months.
She then returned to her former home at Memphis where ten months later she was married to Lewis Lyberger. To this union six children were born, one son and five daughters. The husband, three daughters and one son having preceded her in death.
She died at Sidney, Nebraska, at the age of 77 years, 9 months, and 11 days. She leaves to mourn her departure three daughters and a foster son, Mrs. Robert Wiley (Verna W.),of Sidney, Nebraska, Mrs. Jay Leonard Kidwell of Miller, Mrs. P.W. (Phineas Winfred) Snook (Bertha Adeline) of Grover, Colo., and Mr. Sylvester Trusty, of Wallace, also a great number of friends and neighbors.
She was a most affectionate mother, a kind and obliging neighbor and friend, and devoted member to her church.
