Aaron B. Bowser was born abt 1830,the son of Jacob B. Bowser and Catherine Imler of Bedford Co. He was married to Rose Anna Smith and lived in West Taylor Twp, just outside Johnstown, in Cambria Co, where according to Rose Ann's obituary he died in an accident abt 1861. They were the parents of George, Emma, wife of Henry Rager, and Sophia, wife of James McMahon. After Aaron's death his widow Rose Ann married his brother Isaac Benjamin Bowser. He is most likely buried in or near Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
