Phyllis Bachman Koldewyn Boothe Much-loved and independent mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away 22 Jul 2016. She was born 5 May 1916 in Ogden, Utah a daughter of Milton K. and Marianna Bachman. She recently achieved her goal of living to 100 years of age. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1934 and then worked for F.W. Woolworth's.

She married Donald T. Koldewyn on 5 Oct 1937, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Don passed away on 4 Oct 1964. She then worked as the office manager and secretary for Bachman Plumbing and Heating for 18 years. She married William Boothe in the summer of 1982, and he passed away on 29 May 2004.

She led a full and varied life; she was active in the LDS Church; serving as a ward and stake Relief Society president, a ward Young Women's president and a stake Young Women's counselor. She and her second husband, Bill, served in the Ogden, Utah LDS Temple for six and a half years. She had many interests and hobbies, including gardening, needlework (especially quilting and counted cross-stitch), and reading. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew her as a kind and doting as well as a proud advocate of their interests and accomplishments; the younger ones knew her best as "Grandma M&Ms," since she always had a full bowl of those and other treats. She was also known for her family dinners, including (and especially) the occasional fried-shrimp dinners that would overflow her dining room.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
