James E. Fultz, 68, of Fawn, died at 8 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 2, 2002) in his home after a lingering illness.

Born Oct. 25, 1934, in Distant, Pa., Armstrong County, he lived the past 58 years in Fawn.

Mr. Fultz was a graduate of the former Tarentum High School.

He was a glassworker and mechanic 44 years for Glenshaw Glass Co. before retiring in 1996.

Mr. Fultz was a member of Center United Methodist Church in Fawn.

He had built his home in 1960 and enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending his grandchildren's sports and activities.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Audrey McIntyre Fultz; two sons, Doug (Sue) Fultz of Baden and Scott Fultz of Fawn; a daughter, Pamela (Joseph) Barch of Buffalo Township; seven grandchildren, Joseph Barch Jr., Michael Barch and Sammi Jo Barch, all of Buffalo Township, Amanda Fultz and Vanessa Fultz, both of Baden, and Angeleah Fultz and Kayla Fultz, both of Cheswick; and a sister, Alice Woodrow of Freeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James F. and Catherine Beer Fultz.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, Harrison. A funeral service is tentatively set for 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
