Obituary: Earl Throop, 93, died Friday, October 19, at the Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility, Coldwater,Mich. Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. EST Monday, October 22, in the Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, with Claude Smith officiating. Interment followed in Teeters cemetery. A retired farmer, Throop was born March 12, 1886 at Clear Lake, to Frank and Florence (Tompkins) Throop. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Amos (Bessie) Stetler, of Fremont; Mrs. Herman (Lucile) Albright, of Reading, Mich; and Madge Hill of Pinellas Park, Florida; one step-son David Moore of Coldwater,Mich; 11 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
