Bobby Rogers, age 63, of Alma passed away suddenly at his residence Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
He was son of the late George Washington Rogers and Betty Lou Hutto Rogers and preceded in death by a brother, Wilburn Rogers and a sister, Lunette Shipes.
Survivors include three sons, Chad Rogers (Marcie) of Alma, Jeffery Rogers (Stacy) of Folkston, GA., and Chris Rogers, one brother, Jimmy Rogers (Cindy) of Alma, two sisters, Wilma Cravey Hancock of Waycross and Patricia “Miss Pat” Taylor of Alma; also 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 1st at 3:00 PM at New Hope Southern Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. R. B. Gaskins and Rev. Pet Hayes officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
