Mrs. W. D. Blitch, 75, mother of James D. Blitch and Mrs. Ralph Tompkins of Jacksonville, died yesterday at the home of a son in Gainesville, according to word received here last night. She had been in ill health for more than two weeks. Besides her son and daughter here, Mrs. Blitch is survived by her husband, W. D. Blitch, and son, Aaron Blitch, of Gainesville' two other sons, L. J. Blitch, Lincoln, Neb. and Jess Blitch, in military service overseas, and three daughters, Mrs. Tompkins, Mrs. Lucy Watts, Ocala and Mrs. T. T. Myers of Waycross, Ga. Funeral arrangements to be announced later, are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home at Gainesville.
