Funeral services were held in the Glenwood Baptist Church Sunday, April 17, for Morris Lee Adams, well known retired barber, who died on Friday of a heart attack.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Kell Hinson, the Rev. Raymond Wilder, and the Rev. Robert Brewer. Burial was in the Glenwood City Cemetery, with Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Lowell Clark, Jake Fields, Edward, Wommack, John B. McDaniel, Will Rowland, and Bill Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were J.P. Morrison, G. M. Joiner, Mayor Anderson, Bill Fields, Manry Simpson, and Paul Hester.

Mr. Adams was born on April 5, 1893, the son of Mathew Byrd Adams and Elizabeth Adna Beasley Adams,and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Ruby Stewart; two daughters, Mrs. Margie Stevens, of Clewiston, Fla., and Mrs. Earl Maxon, of Canal Point, Fla.; one step-daughter, Mrs Sue L. Williams of Clewiston Fla.; a stepson, Stewart Bradley, of Glenwood; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Smith, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Mrs. Fred Barker, of Alamo; Mrs. Colon Clark of Glenwood; and five brothers, Alonza and Stanley Adams of Glenwood; Eschol and Arlin Adams of Alamo, and Tom Adams, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
