GARMON – Alan D. Garmon, age 58 of Greensboro, GA, passed away on August 28, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Bear will officiate. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville. Mr. Garmon worked as a Road Maintenance Supervisor with Gwinnett County and was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro and was a member of the Snellville Masonic Lodge #99 F&AM. He loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Garmon was preceded in death by his father, Alton Garmon, and is survived by his wife, Melanie Mooneyham Garmon of Greensboro; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Rusty & Amanda Taylor of White Plains; Ricky & Beverly Taylor of Monroe; Randy Taylor of Greensboro; Mother & Stepfather: Janice & Randy Wright of Monroe; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: James & Cindy Garmon of Loganville; David & Cathy Garmon of Loganville; Sister & Brother-in-law: Sandra & Ricky Duran of Loganville; Mother-in-law: Bobbie Sue Mooneyham of White Plains; Several Nieces & Nephews.
