Elaine was born Jan. 20, 1928, in Vernal. The daughter of Algin and Nellis Karren Gardiner. She was raised in the Ashley Ward area.

She married Vic Davis July 31, 1948. They had three children together, Vickie, Jeff and LeAnn. In the 60s, they moved to Bonanza. They ran the Commissary for American Gilsonite Company. Elaine cooked and served meals to company officials and dignitaries from around the world.

The family moved backed to Maeser, Elaine loved living there. She always raised beautiful flowers and a huge garden.

Elaine retired from Mountain Bell Telephone Company. After the death of her husband and mother, she moved to Taylorsville to be close to her kids. One of her greatest joys was to be close to her grandchildren.

Elaine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many callings.

Elaine was proceeded in death by her parents, Alvin and Nellie Gardiner; brothers, Keith and Orvil; husband, Vic; her daughter, Vickie Beeson; brother-in-law, Jack Chivers; niece, DeAnn McConkie; nephews, Wayne Jenkins, Mark Tanner and Kim Chivers.

She is survived by sons, Jeff and Steve; daughter, LeAnn (Dewey) Eaton; grandchildren, Laura (James) Anderson, Allison (Mikal) Balmforth, Marshall (Melissa) Beeson, Nate (Brittnie) Beeson, Amber (Leon) Naccarato, Zac (Breeanne) Eaton, Tyler Eaton; son-in-law, Wayne Beeson; and 16 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Ashley 3rd Ward LDS Chapel. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com.
