At 1:33pm, I took my last breath in the best place in the world, sitting on my Daddy's lap cradled in his arms and my other Dad right by my side. He gave me a great, long life since he walked into my life and adopted me on the 28th of August 1999. I was just 8 months old. I remember peeking around the corner at the Arizona Animal Welfare League in Phoenix and there he was....He saw me too. That was all it took and we became a family. My name was Jefferson but I became Zack that day. We went on hike after hike having loads of fun. I think my favorite was in the mountains of Arizona in Christopher Creek. I've lived in Arizona, North Carolina, New Hampshire and Florida and saw most of the states in between.
I was preceded in death by my big brother Zachary and big sister Zoe and survived by my little brothers Dexter and Leo; little sister Darcey and my two Dad's, Gary Deschenes and Matt LeMaster
It was my time to go today; I was ready and so were my two Dad's. I will miss my family and I know they'll miss me but I'll always be around and some day I'll be there to greet them on the other side too. Until then, I will be a wonderful memory to them of a lucky dog and a dogs life well lived.
My ashes will be buried at a later date with my grandparent Roland and Mary Deschenes at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA.

It was my time to go today; I was ready and so were my two Dad's. I will miss my family and I know they'll miss me but I'll always be around and some day I'll be there to greet them on the other side too. Until then, I will be a wonderful memory to them of a lucky dog and a dogs life well lived.
