Mrs. Jannie Carruba Russo, age 91, formerly of Balsum Ave. in Powderly. Went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2016. She was a lifelong member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church & served faithfully. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Russo & her siblings: Roy, Vincent, Joe, Mary, Lena, & Josephine. Survivors are her children, Benny, Angela, Norma Jo & Joseph, her sisters: Mamie & Rosalie, & brother in law, Joe. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 10 am, visitation Friday, August 26, 2016 from 5-7 at the church. Rosary at 6:30 pm. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery beside her husband. Father Jim Booth officiating.
