Andrew C. “Drew” Aegerter, age 22, of Massillon passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 29, 2016 at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, 705 Raff Rd SW, Canton, Ohio 44710 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a celebration of Drew's life to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jake Tavissi officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations in Andrew's name be made to the Refuge of Hope, P.O. Box 9361 Canton, Ohio 44711. Andrew C. "Drew" Aegerter, 22, of Massillon received his angel wings on Thursday, August 25, 2016. He was born February 20, 1994 in Canton, Ohio.

Drew graduated from Perry High School class of 2012. He played baseball all through school, loved shooting hoops and hanging out with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Buckey.

Drew is survived by his mother, Jackie (step-dad Chris) Aegerter; father, Christian Wolfert; brother, Sam Aegerter and sister, Tatum Aegerter; grandparents, Rick (Judy) Wines, Richard (Davina) Wolfert, and Henry (Sandy) Aegerter and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

Drew was a free spirit who never met a stranger. His heart of gold, contagious smile, and sense of humor lit up a room. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
