Mrs. Sarah Pence, formerly of this place, died at the home of her daughter at Greencastle, Indiana. She had been an invalid for years. Her remains were brought to Eubank and kept Wednesday night at Mr. W. McKenzie's, who lives at her old home. She had been a widow for many years and had made her home with her only child, Mrs. Ed McClure, who lived and cared for her mother during all her hours of suffering. Besides her daughter and family, many are left to miss the tender, patient sufferer. She was laid to rest in the cemetery near Good Hope March 15, a large crowd attending the funeral. Much sympathy is felt for the daughter.
