Lowell T. Sudduth, 51, of 2025 South First street, died at 6:15 a.m., Sept. 12, 1944, at St. John's hospital following a long illness.
He was born Nov. 11, 1892 [sic] at Edinburg, the son of the late Thomas Sudduth and Mrs. M. Ida Sudduth, 1123 1/2 South Grand avenue west.
He had been employed for a time at the Sangamon ordnance plat and at one time operated farms north of Springfield.
Surviving are his mother; a brother, Kenwood T. Sudduth, Springfield; and three sons, Sgt. L.T., jr, in army; Sgt. Robert C., in army; and Sgt. William, serving in the armed forces.
Funeral services were at the Bisch Memorial home.
Burial was in Roselawn cemetery.
