WILLIAM F. CAMPBELL of Lennoxville

Funeral services for Mr. William Forbes Campbell were held in St. Paul's Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Monday, July 18, 1973, Rev. J Ross Davidson officiating, taking as his text Rev. 7 verse 14 and spoke words of comfort and hope to the bereaved in his brief mention of the deceased he told of his faithful attendance in God's House until ill health prevailed "The Old Rugged Cross" was sung as a solo with the choir joining in the chorus Mrs. Wm G. MacLeod was organist.

Mr. Campbell was born in Dell, Que. on June 20, 1903 the fifth of eight sons born to Donald and Catherine (Nicholson) Campbell.

He was married to Murdena MacKay of Lingwick Road Gould on July 9 1932 and lived on their farm in Galson, Que. until the fall of 1942 when they moved to Rock Island where he was employed by the Union Twist Drill till he retired in 1965 they then moved to Scotstown where they had purchased a home and where they resided until July 5, 1973, when they moved to Lennoxville.

He was hospitalized the following day July 5, 1973 and passed away July 13, 1973 at the Medical Centre where everything humanly possible was done to save his life.

He was predeceased by his parents and his eldest brother Dannie Allan Campbell.

Surviving are his wife and six brothers, John and Kenneth of Detroit, Mich., Murdo of West Springfield, Mass., Merrill of Baltimore, Md., Alex of Yakima, Wash., and Norman of Beardmore, Ont., eight sisters-in-law one brother-in-law, several nephews, nieces, cousins friends and neighbors.

The bearers were four nephews, Dannie Campbell, Norman and Kenneth Campbell and Eddy Echenberg and friends John D. MacDonald and Dale Rollins.

Pall bearers were George T. MacDonald, Dave Hillis, Dannie Morrison, John E. Nicholson, Kenneth MacDonald and John Morrison.

Mr. Campbell had been in ill health for a long time which he bore with patience, maintaining his cheerful disposition to the end his kindly nature endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Endowed with dry wit and a wonderful sense of humor, a sincere friend, a kind neighbor always ready to lend a hand while he was able, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Deepest sympathy of her relatives and many friends and neighbors is extended to Mrs. Campbell and his brothers.
