Mrs. Clara Benson Dies in Burlington
BURLINGTON: Mrs. Clara Benson, 79, resident of Skagit County, died Tuesday in Burlington. Mrs. Benson came to the United States in 1901, and had been a resident of Edison and Allen communities since then. She was a charter member of Edison Lutheran Church.

Surviving are five daughters, Inga Benson and Anne Suryan, both of Seattle, Alice Aarstad of Burlington, Olga Bohna in Oregon and Bernice Erickson of Bow; two sons, Carl and Ben, both of Bow, and 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Edison Lutheran Church, with burial in Bow Cemetery, under direction of Hulbush Funeral Home.
