Born December 30, 1919, in Wilson County, son of the late John Pemberton Arrington and Callie Young Arrington, he was a 1938 graduate of Lebanon High School and a graduate of Sparta School of Aeronautics.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the American Legion, the VFW, and National Association of Federal Employees.
He is survived by his wife Ester, one son and his wife of Atlanta, GA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons Charles and Perry Arrington; twin brother Carlos Young Arrington and sister *Lena Eskew.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home for Mr. Arrington, Interment will be in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
