A respected Baptist Minister for over 40-years in Coosa County and Elmore County. He preached at Concord Baptist church, Poplar Springs and Shady Grove Baptist Church in Coosa County. He also preached at Seaman Baptist church and New Home Baptist Church in North Elmore County. Rev. Thomas was also the first pastor of Seamon Baptist Church located off Alabama Highway #9 in North Elmore County, Alabama. He played the piano by ear, was an expert at crossword puzzles. His will was recorded in Coosa County, Alabama on July 30, 1956. Witnesses to the will were Aleene LeCroy and Mac Thomas. The will was filed on September 17, 1964. He died in Elmore County Hospital in Wetumpka of Cancer.
