Alice P Bickelhaupt was born on Sep. 25, 1927 in Morristown, daughter of Clarence and Dorothy Wallace Pitcher. She graduated from Morristown Central School, class of 1942. Then Syracuse School of Business; and Potsdam State with Bachelor of Education. She taught in Gouverneur Central School, Hammond Central School. On Jul. 15, 1950 she married Robert Bickelhaupt at the Morristown Presbyterian Church.; he died Dec. 1, 2011. She is survived by her children; Marilyn Hundte and husband Gary of Hammond, Jonathan Bickelhaupt and wife Emile of Hammond, Carol Doddona and husband John of Theresa, Philip Bickelhaupt of Ogdensburg and Mark Bickelhaupt of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Hugh and Charles Pitcher and sister Eleanor Demick.
