Daughter of Samuel and Belinda Akam Mallon, she was married, lived at 116 Meadville Pike, Franklin, died there of myocardial degeneration due to chronic myocarditis with decompensation and general arteriosclerosis, per death certificate 107240, whose informant was Vernie Lee Lawson of the same address.

Mrs. Elizabeth Mae Lawson, 70, died at home, 116 Meadville Pike, at 8:25 am today after an illness of several years. She was born in Oil City June 18, 1884, daughter of Samuel and Belinda Akam Malon.

She lived in this area all her life, and attended the United Brethren Church.

On March 17, 1902 she married Vernie Lee Lawson, who survives, with three daughters, Mrs. Florence Brandon of Fairview, Mrs. Geraldine Wentworth of Franklin, and Mrs. Josephine Ferringer of Rocky Grove; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Deceased are 4 sons and a sister.

Services will be at the home of Mrs. Ferringer, 222 Elm Street, Rocky Grove.
