Found in The State 20 January 1972: Mrs. Betty L. Christmus, 57, of 11-3 Hendley Home Apts. in Columbia, wife of William E. Christmus, died Wednesday in her home. A daughter of Mrs. Janie Carroway Seibert and the late John Seibert, she was born in Richland County and was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Thompson Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Floyd W. Cox. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Surviving are her husband of Columbia; a son, Marion E. Christmus of Charlotte; a daughter, Mrs. Janet Morgan of Morganton, N. C.; her mother of Columbia; and a brother, Bruce Seibert of Columbia.
