Doris Irene Crecelius, 73, Paoli, formerly of Marengo, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at 11:58 p.m. at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Born Nov. 18, 1942, in Paoli, she was the daughter of the late Elzie Thomas Jones and Ethel Irene Allen Jones.
She was a retired employee of Hoosier Uplands and attended church services at English Wesleyan Nursing Home.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Jake Jones.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Satterfield and Vickie I. Crecelius; three sons, Robin Satterfield, Vernon, and Victor Crecelius; a sister, Mary Kenley of New Salisbury; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 5 to 8 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli. Funeral: Wednesday: Aug. 24, at 11 a.m. at the mortuary with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery at Milltown. Officiant: Brother Gary Wilson.
