Muriel Thomason Brady, 69, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 7, 1996.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Gideons International Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Colon H. Brady; daughter and son-in-law, Susan B. and David L. Burnley , Roanoke; son, David S. Brady, Salem, Ala.; grandson, Justin Alexander Burnley; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and John T. Hamilton, Roanoke; sister-in-law, Esther Stevens, Greensboro, N.C.

Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Thursday, by the Rev. David R. Tanner and the Rev. Denise Huffman. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 305 Mountain Ave., S. W., Roanoke, Va. 24016, or to Gideons International. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
