He was born December 28, 1944 in Scottsburg, IN, and was the son of the late Roy Boss and Dorothy (Mull) Boss.

He was a retired employee of Cimmins Engine Company Columbus, Indiana. A member of The Old Austin Jaycee's and The Crothersville Lions Club.
