Cleona - Jean M. "Jeanie" Bennetch, 73, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at her residence. She was the wife of the late George D. Bennetch.

Born in Pueblo, Colorado on January 19, 1943 she was the daughter of the late John F. and Mary E. Bann Pazar. Jeanie was a 1961 graduate of St. Mary High School in Walsenburg, CO and received a BSN from the College of Mt. St. Joseph On-The-Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1965. She was a Navy nurse stationed in Charleston, SC from 1965-1967. She spent the remainder of her employment years in various nursing positions and in 2003 retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Health at the Lebanon State Health Center after 25 years of service. Jeanie enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her dog, Mazie.

She is survived by a daughter, Jill M., wife of Troy W. Bryce of Matthews, NC; and three grandchildren, Natalie, Kyle and Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her brother, William A. Pazar.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jeanie's memory to the St. Mary Senior Outreach Program Attn: Sister Carol Tlach, 324 East 7th Street, Walsenburg, CO 81089.
