Gospel Singer. He was an original member of the Rangers Quartet which was formed during the Depression Era of the 1930's. The Rangers Quartet spotlighted their "basso-profundo" Arnold Hyles. His loud and rough bass voice was a foundation for this quartet. He was a 2004 Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee.
