He was husband of 2nd Mrs. Rosella "Rose" BOATRIGHT WATERS (her 2nd marriage also). Rosella 3rd married Mr. Nathaniel A. "Nathan" TIPPINS. She and Nathan are buried in the Shiloh Primitive Bapt. Church Cemetery.
Michael Henderson: Enlisted as 4th Sergeant in Co. A, "Atlantic & Gulf Guards", 4th (Clinch's) Reg't Georgia Cavalry, at Tebeauville, Ware County, Georgia. on May 1, 1862 for the duration of the War. Promoted to 3rd Sergeant on Dec. 23, 1862 and then promoted to 2nd Sergeant in 1863. Sergeant Henderson is last shown on a roll of the Yankee 1st Division Cavalry Corps as a Prisoner of War surrendered at Tallahassee, Fla., on May 10, 1865 and paroled at Thomasville, Ga., on May 19, 1865.

Mr. Mike Henderson died at his home over in the fork of the Hurricanes last Friday night from dropsy. He had been in feeble health for several years. His remains were laid to rest in the Youmans grave yard eight miles west of Blackshear on last Saturday. Three brothers survive him, besides his immediate family.
