Rebecca Sue Blanton Wells of Cedar Hill, Texas, died at Methodist Dallas Medical Center September 15, 2010.
"Becky" was a 1956 graduate of Boiling Springs High School in North Carolina.
A U.S. Navy veteran, and a retiree of AAFES in Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady C. Blanton of Boiling Springs, NC; husband, Donald Wells; brothers, Roy Dean and Freddie Blanton; a sister, Janice Powell.
Becky is survived by sisters, Velma Aarsund, Joyce White, Pat Ellis, and Janet Adams; brothers, Gene Blanton, Wayne Blanton, and Ronnie Blanton.
The family will announce funeral service plans at a later date.
Contributions may be made to Flint Hill Baptist Church, Flint Hill Church Road in Shelby, NC 28152.
