His obit. is shown on page 14 of The Oregon Daily Journal newspaper on 29 May 1913. The paper specifies that he was interned at the Mt. Cavalry Cemetery, however there is no grave stone there and William Keppler is not listed in the Mt Cavalry records as being buried there. It is possible that the burial location was changed after it was too late for the newspapers to change the print, and he may have been buried in the same cemetery as his wife Kate, in Lincoln Memorial Park. However despite this, it is still possible his body lies at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
