BALLINGER - Morene Riddle Forgey, 91, died Monday, January 18, 1999, at Heritage Oaks Estate Nursing Home. She was born August 26, 1907, in Runnels County to Thomas Jefferson Riddle and Effie Amanda Young Riddle. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Forgey, and three sisters.
Survivors include three sisters, Georgia Mae Vanlandingham of Victoria; Tommie Benson of San Angelo, Ruthie Lee Cooke of Abilene, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 1999 at Old Runnels Cemetery. Norval Meredith officiated. Burial was under the direction of Rains-Seale Funeral Home.
