Mrs. Hettie Green
Mexia - Mrs. Hettie Gertrude Green, 63, a resident of Mexia, died in a hospital here at 4:15 a.m. today.

Mrs. Green was born in Lake Dallas. She is survived by her husband, Homer Green of Denton; three sons, V.R. Green and Allan D. Green of Denton and James Kenneth Green of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Monroe Allan of Denton; one brother, J.A. Cates of Lewisville; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Goen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the Goen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.L. Roden officiating burial in the Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.

Notes: Her death certificates gives her dob as 15 Apr 1904. It also gives her mother's name as Minnie Morgan which appears to be incorrect.
