Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Celestine “Tin” Bergeron Prejean, 98, who passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at her residence.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.

Celestine married the love of her life and shared 67 beautiful years with him before his death. She enjoyed watching television, listening to French music, dancing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her laughter and her lovable personality. Tin will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Leroy Prejean and wife Phyllis of Breaux Bridge and Norris Prejean and wife Nellie of Hemphill, TX; daughter, Hazel Bergeron and husband Ronald of Breaux Bridge; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clopha Prejean; parents, Alexson and Ida Pourciaux Bergeron; all of her siblings; a grandson, Todd Prejean; and a great-granddaughter, Michelle Robin.
