Winthrop came to Wyoming in a covered wagon with his wife Hattie Young and son Winthrop II. Winthrop I & Hattie Young, of Silas Byram (Byram of John Alden lines) & Mary Johnson of Silas Alden/Charlotte Ford ( of famous Revolutionary War era Ford & Baldwins, Kitchells), of Rev. War col. Ebenezer/Huldah Byram (of Abigail Alden**Byram/Ebenezer Byram... John alden great, great granddaughter),of Peter Condict/Phebe Dodd (Dods of Ct & NJ) and of Peter Condict (Cundit?)/Mary Harrison (Harrisons of England), of John Cunditt? Condict, the Norman ancestor to America in 1678, who settled Newark, NJ, resided in Orange and Morristown, NJ.
When he came to Wyoming in a covered wagon he homestead one of the largest free-flow, irrigated ranches in the Rockies, near Saratoga Hot Springs, Wyoming 1880s.
His lines are also related to: US President John Adams, 3x, (Ruth Alden lines, and two other lines); Emily Dickinson, famous poet; Jonathan Dickinson(of Nathaniel), 1st pres. Princeton U.)), Ira Condict(3rd pres. Rutgers),and He was the 5th great grandson of Cornelius/Cornelis Melyn/Molyn of the Netherlands, found here:   Cornelis Melyn
