Margaret Ruth Phelps Little passed away on February 28, 2000 at her home in Salt Lake City.

She was born November 5, 1930 to George LaFayette Phelps and Margareta West in Salt Lake City.

Married Neils Little in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 28, 1962.

She worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the distribution center as an order processor, she also worked for Montek, Utah Pickle Factory, and American Linen.

She was a volunteer coordinator at Glendale Intermediate, also volunteered for the Heart Association, Cancer Society, and the March of Dimes. Also helped with the Pioneer Park Restoration Committee and the Alfred Wesemann Memorial. She was an active member of the LDS Church and held several positions.

Survived by her husband and two daughters, Marlene Little and Margaret Little, both of Salt Lake City; also survived by one brother, George A. Phelps, of Hoytsville; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2000 at 12:00 p.m. in the Cannon First Ward Chapel, 934 West Fremont Avenue. Friends may call on Friday, March 3, 2000 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
